What is Neurodiversity?
Neurodiversity is an umbrella term which includes Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia, Learning Delay, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability and more.
It describes that the world is made up of a diversity in neurology and that we all experience and interact with the world in many different ways.
The term Neurodiversity was first coined by Australian Sociologist Judy Singer in 1990’s with the aim of increasing acceptance and inclusion of all people while embracing neurological differences.
Neurodiversity research and education is increasingly important in how clinicians view and address certain disabilities and neurological conditions. Here at Neurodiversity Group we believe in using the latest science backed research to support neurodivergent individuals to embrace their uniqueness and achieve their goals.
